Earthsea is thrilled to announce the launch of a series of free workshops. The first one, Gesture, Flow, and Sediment – Exploratory Practices of Geological Matter, led by Angelina Nogueira, will take place on February 1. Join us!

This workshop invites participants to engage in the artistic and personal sharing of exploratory processes involving geological matter through an experimental approach evocative of performative and pictorial practices. Using clay shale from the Serras do Porto as the primary material, participants will explore moments of manipulation, reflection, and individual and collective reconfiguration of these materials. By transforming their form, state, location, and purpose, the workshop seeks to reflect on the sensitive and poetic intimacies that inspire new perspectives on the relationship between making/being/human – nature.

A Earthsea anuncia com entusiasmo a abertura de uma série de workshops gratuitos. O primeiro, “Gesto, Fluxo e Sedimento - Práticas Exploratórias da Matéria Geológica” conduzido por Angelina Nogueira, acontece já no dia 1 de fevereiro. Junta-te a nós!

Esta oficina propõe a partilha pessoal artística de processos exploratórios da matéria geológica a partir de uma abordagem experimental, evocativa de práticas performativas e pictóricas. Tendo como matéria-prima o xisto argiloso das Serras do Porto, os participantes são convidados a integrar momentos de manipulação, reflexão e reconfiguração individual e coletiva destas matérias, alterando a sua forma, estado, localização e propósito para refletir sobre as intimidades sensíveis e poéticas que presidem à criação de novas visões sobre a relação entre o fazer/ser/humano - natureza.
